Team from the USAID/Uganda Integrated Community Agriculture and Nutrition Activity visits the KRSU

A team from the USAID/Uganda ICAN Activity visited us in July 2022 to discuss sustainability in project implementation and brainstorm about political economy analysis. We also briefed them about the KRSU model, how KRSU was initiated, how it coordinates and supports the Karamoja Development Partners Group and its sustainability approaches.

The ICAN team outlined their work in Southwestern Uganda, the Acholi Sub region and in Kotido and Kaabong in Karamoja which uses a facilitative approach across livelihood, economic empowerment, women and governance activities. Their focus was on building resilience in communities and we discussed how the results could be maintained after the projects, and an assessment they planned to conduct in that regard.
